    It is called solid geometry that branch of geometry that studies geometric figures consisting of points all included in a three-dimensional space; and in particular:

    • the volume, since they are developed in three dimensions;
    • faces (only for solids with flat surfaces, in the case of solids with curved surfaces this definition is not valid);
    • the edges;
    • vertices;
    • dihedral angles;
    • angles.
